GSTP equipment

The main goal of the Project was to provide entrepreneurs with high-quality services and infrastructure to strengthen and use their innovative potential. The implementation of the Project created favorable conditions for the development of business activity for new and existing enterprises focused on the development of innovative products and technologies, strengthened cooperation between enterprises and the science and research zone, created favorable conditions for the commercialization of new technologies and provided expert support for companies operating in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

In 2015The implementation of the Project "Gdańsk Science and Technology Park - Stage III" was completed. The existing GSTP facility was extended and as a result it become a large office, technology and laboratory complex. The expansion of the Park made it possible to support the development of investors in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone in cooperation with domestic and foreign scientific institutions.

Baltic Blue Biotechnology Alliance

The aim of the project was to create a comprehensive offer of the Baltic Sea Region in the field of blue biotechnology and to increase the number of companies in the blue biotechnology industry. The collected information made it possible for Europe to compete with the countries of the Far East in the field of commissioned research, and thus the use of the already existing infrastructure and qualified human resources, through the effective management of available resources.

Transfer of innovative solutions

The implementation of the Project contributed to the solution of the existing infrastructural barriers limiting the development of innovative companies in Pomerania and the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park. Taking into account the innovative companies operating in the vicinity of GSTP, the needs were identified that were met in order to create favorable infrastructural conditions for their development.

Nursery

Increasing the professional activity of women returning to the labor market, was made posible by providing care in a nursery located in GPN-T. It can accommodate 42 children providing them with educational care, taking into account the overall development of a young child, psychomotor, cognitive processes, emotional and social development.

Molanote

The main goal of the project was to make an investment by the Coordinator (PSSE) of the MOLANOTE cooperative relationship consisting in the purchase of modern research and development infrastructure, which will be placed in specially adapted rooms. The strategic goal is also to initiate and jointly conduct activities, stimulate the development of new technologies in the above-mentioned subject areas. As a result, 6 different types of laboratories were created to carry out various types of research related to the industry profile of the association's activity, i.e. energy-saving construction and renewable energy sources (RES).

ICT Startup

The development of the Pomeranian ICT Cluster involves cooperating with the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park through creation of Start-up entities. The process consisted of recruitment,  and workshops preparing candidates for innovative activities. These entities could carry out their activities in an open-space area adequately equipped with the necessary working tools (co-working).

DISKE

The aim of the DISKE project was to cooperate under the triple-helix model of science and technology parks, local authorities, the academic and business community in the Baltic Sea region through the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of operation and management of parks and incubators. The activities in the Project contributed to the improvement of competitiveness in the SME sector and strengthening the economic potential of the states of the Baltic Sea Region.

Scale up

Space3ac Intermodal Transportation is one of the top ten acceleration programs to receive funding under the ScaleUP pilot programme. It is the first competition of this type involving innovation in Poland organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. The topic of ​​the Space3ac Intermodal Transportation program is satellite techniques for intermodal transport.

Qualifications for Pomerania

The main goal of the project is to create an educational offer to improve the situation status on the labor market of 438 people (129K, 309M) of MSME employees and social economy entities (PES), at the age of professional activity from the province. The leader of the project is the Economic Foundation in Gdynia in partnership with PSSE and the Open Education Group.
