Space4Makers is a space where innovators, do-it-yourselfers, startups, student clubs and companies can bring their ideas to life.
You too can join their ranks!



Space4Makers is a creative space that has two well-equipped work areas open space and Protolab II, run in cooperation with Gdansk University of Technology's purpose-built company Excento.

Protolab II

Protolab II is a comprehensively equipped workshop run by a special purpose vehicle of the Gdansk University of Technology, Excento. The lab offers large-scale machines for metal and plastic processing, such as:

• CNC milling machine
• lathe
• milling and drilling machine
• sheet metal bending machine
• belt cutting machine
• manual press
• bench grinder
• table drill
• piston compressor
• 3D printers

Each person, after purchasing a subscription at that time and receiving an access card, has the opportunity to use the laboratory 24/7. Any student, graduate student or faculty member at Gdansk University of Technology can apply to Excento to use Protolab II free of charge.

Workshop box

As a part of Space4Makers offer we give you opportunity to rent workshop box with an area of approx. 7,5m2. Each of 5 boxes has an separate enter. Box is a closed space for production and warehouse. Together with the box you will be given an access to:

• relaxation zone,
• wireless Internet connection,
• social area.

Conference and Coworking Zone

The Conference and Coworking Area is a dedicated space right next to the workshop area. If you need to hold a meeting, presentation, workshop, or just need a break, you can always use it and then quickly return to the workshop.
