Space4Makers is a space where innovators, do-it-yourselfers, startups, student clubs and companies can bring their ideas to life.

Space4Makers is a creative space that has two well-equipped work areas: Space4Makers open space and Protolab II, run in cooperation with Gdansk University of Technology's purpose-built company Excento.

Right now anyone can use a selection of equipment and tools inside Space4Makers. The amazing community and available hardware are waiting to help you bring your ideas to life! Once you purchase a subscription, you have access to:

 

 

Protolab II

Protolab II is a comprehensively equipped workshop run by a special purpose vehicle of the Gdansk University of Technology, Excento. The lab offers large-scale machines for metal and plastic processing, such as:

• CNC milling machine
• lathe
• milling and drilling machine
• sheet metal bending machine
• belt cutting machine
• manual press
• bench grinder
• table drill
• piston compressor
• 3D printers

Each person, after purchasing a subscription at that time and receiving an access card, has the opportunity to use the laboratory 24/7. Any student, graduate student or faculty member at Gdansk University of Technology can apply to Excento to use Protolab II free of charge.

Space4Makers open space

The open space at Space4Makers is a dedicated area equipped with specialized equipment for tests and research. You can also count on expert support from the SKALP Robotics Association, who are thriving members of the Space4Makers community. With access to space, tools and technical expertise from SR SKALP experts, you can design and create your dream prototype.

The space includes:

• laser plotter
• welding machine
• 3D printer zone in FDM and UV LCD technology
• stations for precision soldering and diagnostics of electronic circuits
• table-top drilling machine
• mitre saw
• grinders and drills
• hand tools
• computer workstations

Space4Makers' open space is available to businesses and individuals 24 hours a day.

Workshop box

As a part of Space4Makers offer we give you opportunity to rent workshop box with an area of approx. 7,5m2. Each of 5 boxes has an separate enter. Box is a closed space for production and warehouse. Together with the box you will be given an access to:

• relaxation zone,
• wireless Internet connection,
• social area.

Conference and Coworking Zone

The Conference and Coworking Area is a dedicated space right next to the workshop area. If you need to hold a meeting, presentation, workshop, or just need a break, you can always use it and then quickly return to the workshop.
